Last week, the DGO (German Society for Electroplating and Surface Technology) hosted a series of talks at QUBUS and IFO in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Participants were treated to two interesting talks:
Artur Kusminov (QUBUS) provided a comprehensive, practical insight into the latest developments in environmental legislation for operators of surface treatment plants. Andreas Eva (IFO) then spoke about the latest developments in the field of corrosion testing, with a particular focus on the automotive industry.
Following the presentations, all participants had the opportunity to discover the wide range of testing facilities available at the IFO laboratory during a tour of the centre. The day was rounded off with a lively exchange at the on-site BG get-together, where all participants were able to network further and discuss their impressions.
